BACKGROUND
Everyone knows about the famous TED talk series. But now TED is coming to local venues for communities to share and spread ideas in a TED-like experience, known as TEDx. Portland, San Francisco, New York, Boulder, Atlanta, and Charlotte have their own TEDx websites, and Asheville needed a website to make people aware of the TEDx talks here. The website needed functionality for people to buy tickets and sign up as sponsors, volunteers, and speakers

Design a user experience that adheres to the TED aesthetic bolstered by the signature Greenstone style.

Use WordPress framework and integrate with Eventbrite automated ticketing functionality. Clients are able to easily update events and maintain ticket sales.

RESULT
Greenstone built a TEDxAsheville website with the recognizable TEDx branding, but specific to Asheville, NC. Pages were built specifically for speakers, sponsors, and for attendees looking to buy tickets. With on-page SEO, Greenstone helped drive organic traffic to the website.
