About This Position
Are you someone that is passionate about maintaining the highest level of web performance and is meticulous about their code? Are you someone that can balance more than one project at a time?
Greenstone Media is looking to fill a Senior-Level Web Developer position (Full-Stack). Ideally, we would like someone that can jump into projects with eagerness to find efficient solutions, work within the Greenstone web development process, and work collaboratively with our other developers. Some work could entail building WordPress plugins, writing JavaScript React Native mobile applications, and contributing to Laravel PHP web applications.
Must Be:
• Strong knowledge of HTML5/CSS3/Sass
• Strong knowledge of vanilla Javascript and jQuery
• Proficient with PHP
• Solid development version control practices (GitHub, Source Tree)
• Comfortable in software application environments (Laravel, Rails, etc)
• Command Line
• Comfortable editing WordPress templates, writing simple plugins
• Detailed in quality testing practices
• Able to commute daily to downtown Asheville location
• Experienced with 2-4 years of Web Development
Compensation is based on experience with 20-30 hours per week starting. Hourly pay increase and/or salary negotiable after 3 months.
Bonus:
• Proficiency in React, ReactNative
• Experience in app deployment with AWS or Heroku
• MySQL and database engineering
• Mobile responsive development, Bootstrap, Material, etc.
• Experience with Trello
• Experience with JIRA
• Rooted with usability principles
• Knowledge of accessibility standards
• Previous experience at a full-service digital agency
• Vagrant/Homestead
You will need to provide your own computer, preferably Mac.
